This index of nonprofits represents organizations and institutions committed to delivering empowerment services to the Tucson community. They are committed to utilizing their programs to solve community
issues/ challenges. Their program offerings are classified into four objectives: 1) Crime, 2) Health, 3) Education, and 4) Employment. This list further breaks down into twelve program areas plus on additional area called "other."
The goal of this index is to isolate nonprofit programs into categories consistent with the neighborhood efforts needing services. These program services need to be consistent with the identified indicators and the funding secured for the neighborhoods to solve their issues. These objectives and program areas include:
